El presente estudio explora la simulación de congresos científicos como herramienta formativa en Implantología Oral. Se detalla la organización de un evento que replicó un congreso real, incluyendo ponencias, pósteres, comités y defensas, con la participación de estudiantes de grado y posgrado. El objetivo fue evaluar la efectividad de esta metodología inmersiva para la comunicación de resultados científicos, una habilidad clave en el desarrollo profesional del odontólogo. Se registraron altos índices de aprobación de trabajos y satisfacción general, sugiriendo que esta aproximación es valiosa para familiarizar a los futuros profesionales con el entorno de la investigación y la divulgación científica en cirugía e implantología oral.

Abstract original

The communication of results of scientific production is a fundamental part of the professional development of the Dentist. The simulated congress took place in an auditorium of the University, presented as a scientific day simulating a congress held by a scientific society related to Oral Surgery and Implantology, with speakers, oral communications and posters and their respective defenses; an organizing committee and a scientific committee in which 100% of the undergraduate and postgraduate students of surgery and implantology participated. 89.5% of the works were evaluated with a mark above 7.5. The average rating of all presentations was 8. At the end of the conference, a Kahoot® test was carried out for self-evaluation. 75.5% of the students answered the Kahoot® questions and 57.65% passed the test. A satisfaction survey obtained an average score of 8.7, showing that the environment brought the student closer to a situation very similar to a real congress.
